Default Speaker options in 1994 850 Wagon

What have other people used to replace the stock speakers in the 850 wagon? Also, I plan on putting in an aftermarket radio, so it'd be nice to know if the crossovers for the speakers are built into the stereo or if they are somewhere in the wiring. Also, is there a factory amp on this audio system?

I'm in the beginning stages of instaling new Boston Accoustics speakers (5.5 in. in the doors and 3.5 in. for the dash and rear column of my wagon) and a new Kenwood headunit - just hunting for an accurate pinout...

A crossover should be a part of the speakers, not the headunit, since the HU won't know the frequencies that the speakers can handle.

Some cars had an external amp, some did not. If you pull the HU out, you'll see a round connector hanging off the HU - not to be confused with the smaller, round connector for the anntenna.

My 855 has 8 speakers. The wiring is a bit odd in that the front 4 each have their own wiring, but the rear are wired in parallel for each side.
