Default USA Spec Ipod adapter hums

Hey! I installed the Usa Spec ipod adapter on my Volvo S60 radio. But when I drive, I can hear a humming noise through the stereo, that follows the revs of the car. I have followed the instructions as per the manual. What is the problem?

I had somewhat of the same issue with my S80. Do you have a SAT Radio/Nav?

Did you ground the adapter to a non painted metal surface?

I don't have SAT Radio or NAV. I'm pretty sure I grounded it to the ground thing on the radio. I'll have to check. Anything else I should look for?

Move the ground to the chassis or the pax seat or the left front lower door ground point. Move the connect as far as you can from the box.

You've got a ground loop. If what was previously suggested doesn't help then try a 'ground loop isolator' like this: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SNI1...r.html?tp=2653
