Default Watts per channel?

!994 Volvo 850 turbo wagon ... What watt's per channel are being put out by my head unit? It's a stock head unit. I wanted to put an aftermarket cd/mp3 player in there in stead of a portable cd player with a car adapter kit that goes into the tape player. The cd players that I'm looking at brag about 50x4 watts per channel. If our head units put out more than this I would just a ssume stay with what I have. Thanks in advance, Notta

Default RE: Watts per channel?

it doesn't. I'm not sure on the exact numbers for the regular stuff but the premium sound systems pushed 35 watts per channel back in the day and now it pushes 40 watts.
