Default DiCE funcion

The DiCE seemed to work when powered by DC power supply. However,
now I've had chance to try the DiCE connected to the OBDII port and the ‘Vehicle Interface Status' LED is out. No through put data.
So did continuity test of the cable:
orientation of pins looking down in to the OBDII connector, then pin 1 top left.

1...N/A
2...Red
3...Blue
4...Bk
5...Bk
6...Yellow
7...Orange
8...N/A
9...N/A
10..N/A
11..Purple
12..N/A
13..N/A
14..Green
15..White
16..Brown

Problem: the ordering of the wires in header connector onto the DiCE:
Bk, Bn; Rd; Or; Gn; Yel; Bl; Pur; Wh;

However, different order in this photo:
Or; Bn, Bl; Gn; Yel; Pur; Rd; Wh; Bk.

Both mine and that board the same green PCB board.

Can anyone verify from a fully functioning DiCE please.

Reason for asking: there is no through put of data from the vehicle. The led single flash then goes out.

The DiCE tests OK from the computer. And the OBDII port works fine. So I suspect the order of the 9-wires in the header maybe wrong.

Thanks for responding.
I'm in Wales UK.
The DiCE self checks with on faults

When connected to the OBDII port on the car no communication.

I've done a continuity check on the cable and not brakes.
Hence my first post, if I knew the order of wires from the 9 pin header on the DiCE board to their positions in the OBDII connector, I could check if they match.

Ah, ok a bit far to send you mine to compare. I have lent my unit out but would be happy to do some continuity tests sad soon as I get it back. I will post back when I have it in hand.

Thanks again, I'm surprised there's been no response on two local UK forums.
