Default Odd wiring prob

So I recently replaced a broken mirror with a new one, I'm not sure if it was from a V70 but it's 2001 and it fits.(my wagon is a 2001). When I plug it in however, the dome lights won't go off and no matter what I do the key fob will not work. I just leave the mirror unplugged for now and it works fine but I'd love to be able to plug it in and have the warning lights and sensors work on it, and to gain back the usage of my key fob. Any suggestions??

These cars had an option of with and without mirror memory - MIGHT be a mis-match here causing problems. VIN would confirm this
