Default How Do You Apply Wax?

So, after polishing a car for hours or sometimes over the course of days, how do you apply the final wax or paint sealant? I set up a poll to see what everyone else uses.

By hand? Foam applicator, or microfiber applicator or towel?

With an orbital or DA polisher? Do you use a foam pad or a bonnet over a pad?

By hand with a microfiber cloth, warm area in the shade......try the Pinnacle wax, VERY good product and easy on/easy off... ;-)

PS. I am not associated with Pinnacle... :-)

I like using the polisher with a microfiber bonnet to apply.

After all that work on a car with the machine, it just makes sense to me to continue using it for the final step. The machine works faster than hand motion as well.
Obviously, some edges still have to be done by hand.

Occasionally, I will apply by hand for whatever random reason.

I like to apply Pinnacle Souveran by foam applicator. Fogducker is absolutely correct about the ease of use when it comes to our wax. A high end wax should be a piece of cake to apply and take off. I can apply our Souveran wax by hand in like 8-10 minutes and take it off with a nice microfiber towel in like 3-5 minutes. Beautiful shine. I love applying waxes. Stress Relief

I do it by hand using a foam applicator. One direction is my preferred method because the circular motion can increase swirls.

Very True, circular motion swirls are a lot more visible to the eye than straight scratch marks, just in case you get some loose dirt in your wax applicator when applying it.
