Recently, my 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo began having braking issues, the ABS light is on and the brakes are really difficult to apply. I replaced the brake booster but, that seems to not be the issue. I was recently told it may be the ABS pump. DOes anyone out there second this or do you have any suggestions on what could be the problem. I open . Could be the ABS pump of even the master cylinder. The best thing to do would be to find out what codes are stored in the ABS computer. This will at least give you some direction to what the issue is.
