Does anyone have suggestions or links to portable lighting for detailing?


Lately, I have found myself going mobile quite often to do car clean/detail jobs, but lighting is an issue.


Quartz Halogen lights are too hot and dangerous for my taste.
Most home garages only have a couple 60W bulbs in the ceiling which offers little help.


I tried a rechargeable LED trouble light a few years ago. It didn't last too long on a charge and the battery died after a year or so anyway. Really, it wasn't quite bright enough.


I do have a Brinkmann handheld "swirl finder" Dual Xenon, but I need something I can plug in and use for hours for both interior and exterior.


If all else fails, I may have to build my own stand(s) for fluorescent lights.


Any thoughts at all?
