What is a good in between detailer?
So I am going to wax my car less now. Maybe twice a year maybe 4 times a year.
I am using MOTHERS, California Gold Carnauba Wax Cleaner. Works really well. I think the next time I do this I will clay bar as well.
However what is a good in between claying and waxing detailer?

I saw the thread and pic earlier.Nice job. I have been using the Mequiers for awhile and it really seems to keep the detail job alive for a good while between wax jobs. Both ny S40 and wifes xc70 are white and it is hard to get them to "shine" but the mequires does the trick.

Bump. Another trick I learned from my Dad about 50 years ago was to detail a car completely and then hose it off and chamois it 1 more time. The final cold water rinse seems to "fix" the wax job and make it harder and shine better.MAybe psychological but I still do it today.BJ

Griots Garage speed shine or spray on wax with the 100% cotton towel. Google Griots garage online and request a cataloge I guarantee that you will not be dissapointed by anything they offer and if you are they will refund your money, hands down the best detailing products available with wonderful costomer service I recomend it to all. I frequently get buisness cards on my cars asking for a phone call when I am ready to sell.

You can clay as you wash, use the soapy wash water as a lubricant and cut a lot of time off the whole process. Try S100 wax sometime, it's relabeled P21S and available in most motorcycle shops. It won't stain trim, not that you'd have an issue with that in anS70 and it goes on and off smooth and easy. The shine is hard to beat and it's cheap compared to Zymol and most of what Griots sells.
