Okay so I replaced my 2000 Volvo s80's power steering high pressure hose yesterday and went fine, no leaks or anything and the pump is working fine. The issue is that the power steering only works when i push the accelerator. While it was jacked up i tried to bleed the power steering of air by turning the wheel left and right for about 10 minutes but it didn't help the issue, when the car isn't moving the power steering doesn't work at all. I checked all the belts and they are tight. I also used regular ATV fluid because thats all it said i needed in the owners manual. Please let me know of any ideas of what the issue could be and how to fix it. thanks in advance!
