Default another question about power seat that won't work

My passenger power seat doesn't work. I "searched" the other posts, etc., and read about a spring that sometimes detaches , etc. It is near where the seat back and bottom meet, if you push the seat forward as if you were exiting the back seat.

So, I played around and I was able to feel something and I pushed it foward and it must have connected with something because the seat started to move! Very exciting for a novice! Anyways, I can not find the spring everyone has mentioned. Maybe it is missing for good! Is there another alternative to getting the two parts to meet up? Or, Can I get a spring somewhere? Any help is appreciated!!!

You will need to find a spring to install.
The spring makes it hold the connection together. when you fold the seat it hits a certain point and makes the electronics stop.

Is the spring something I need to order from a dealer? Or is it something any auto store might have? Or can I get it online? Thanks---I am quite a novice at this and don't mean to ask so many questions, but I am trying to get as much info as possible!!

For the proper one your should get from the Dealer.
Or if you have a salvage yard near you go and try to find a 850 with a good glove box door.
Then remove the spring out of the latch assembly and try it.
From what I remember it should be very close.
