I am want to put my bored 350 in my volvo coupe. it is 8:1 so it runs on regular fuel. if and what do i have to do to get it to pass smog. can a 350 pass ca smog? <its carborated btw>

it kida matters where in ca you live..
technicaly you can but you have to use the same year or newer and you must use all of the orig smog equip that was on that motor..
and the motor cannot come out of a fullsize truck.
so you could 'legally' do a 305 or 350 out of a camaro or etc.. from a 83 or newer car..
