Hey there, will someone tell me some legal (in California) way to gain HP and TQ from a N/A 1995 850 GLT. THANK YOU!

 

There isn't much out there for the N/A.

 

1. IMO it isn't worth it on a NA. Your not going to gain much of anything. And truely there is hardly anything out there for NA Volvo's.

2. You could do a 2.25" catback system with a Flowmaster muffler. I say Flowmaster because on a NA you want backpressure a Magnaflow muffler is a straight through design and you don't want that.

3. You could get QBM's (QuickBrickMotorSports) CAM Tool.

4. An intake wont gain you much if anything as I posted before.

5. An ECU upgrade. A few companies make them for NA's but they are really worthless.

IMO go with exterior and interior modifications and also suspension upgrades.

 

if you have the money, go the way of custom cams/rods/port and polishing manifold, then a catback exhaust. Otherwise save the money for another car that has a turbo.
