HEHEHE!! found the right place for this question!!

Hello to all!

This may taste like strong, unsweetened coffe, but I need to know if there is a company or an individual that makes custom crankshafts for Volvo engine? Also custom pistons and H-rods for it? I have specifications for a cranckshaft, pistons and rods, but need to find a custom shop.

If anyone knows, please, any info is welcomed.

Hi it's a shame cause I have a enginering company here in Malta that could do it for you but the cost in shipping alone would be a fortune,it would be nice if you could share the specs with me and see if they are ok for my motor

 

Well, throw me some numbers.... Would the crankshaft and shipping cost less than $1600 US? I check out Malta in Google Earth and found out it is in the same time zone as Sweden. The Engine Specs are from a company there that I would LOVE!!! to get some parts, but too costly

shipping alone would cost about that Malta is south of Italy in the med sea just of the coast of Africa,I found the best for pistons and con rods would be http://www.stenparnermotor.se/ and he does alot of buisness to the States.

That is the company that make the crankshaft I want... but... it will cost more than my Chevy 350 V8 crankshaft costed.. If I don't get the company here, I will order the parts by the end of this year if I can find the $3350 US by then...... That is way too much for a cranck, pistons and rods... but.... I WANT THEM!!!!

LOL I was just checking yours nice ride,I don't think you would need the crankshaft from sten,why don't you take yours to a local enginering company and have it balanced,v cut and there you have a nice crank also have your flywheel lightened and the numbers are Maltese reg plates

 

Thanks for the compliment... That is the problem... I can't find a company that is willing to do that in a Volvo Crankshaft... too many imports and us cars to worry about.

But, I do need some power under this hood so I can make a dual exhaust work just nice! After all, my car has all the restricting US specs.

Sorry to ask, but what did you mean by Maltese reg plates?

 

I mean the vehicle registation plates we have on the front and back of the car
