Default ECU upgrade options for 98 V70 T5

So I was on EST Tuning's website, and all they had for the ECU upgrade was 99+ cars. I was wondering if anyone made any reflash tools for a 98? Also, if any of you have bought one, what are your thoughts?

Thanks,

IPD USA
RICA

Two best ECU tuning companies on the market for Volvo. Also expensive.

Inmotion
SpeedTuning USA
Upsolute

Three more tuning companies on the market. However these are less researched, less developed and therefore cheaper. You get what you pay for and mostly you'll run RICH. Now I have a SpeedTuning USA ECU upgrade, it does work but I am running slightly RICH. I only got it because I wasn't going to be doing any other mods and it was through a groupbuy so it was a lot less.

If I had to do it all over again IPD USA and or RICA would be my choice no doubt about it.

Also you'll have to send your ECU off to these companies, so you will be car less for however long it does take. I was car less for about a day or two with SpeedTuning USA.

Thanks for the info. Is there any reason why EST Tuning doesn't offer it for the 98's on their site? I'm just worried that there's something that the other companies "missed" that EST thought wouldn't work on a 98.

Thanks,

EST doesn't tune your car. BSR does, EST just sells the BSR tune. And technically you plug the programmer into your car and install the tune yourself.

However on the 1998 models no tuning companies have made this available yet only on 1999+ models.

So with 1998's you have to send your ECU out.
