Ok so I had the SpeedTuning USA ecu upgrade on my car. The 12PSI version to be exact. Well Volvo preformed their ETM software upgrade on my car today. It totally wiped out my SpeedTuning USA ecu upgrade. So instead of boosting 12PSI like usual I am boost stocking 5-7 PSI.

Be very aware that if you have a car with ETM and you have an aftermarket ECU upgrade it will be wiped out. People over on VS with Upsolute tuning also had this problem and I think some people with the IPD ecu upgrade are holding off on the EMT software upgrade till they know they can get free remap or whatever from IPD.

So like I said be aware that if you have a Volvo with an ETM and you have a ECU upgrade it will be wiped out. Also if your car has the ETM and you plannin gon an ECU upgrade get the ETM software upgrade first then your ECU upgrade from ST USA, EST, IPD, Upsolute or RICA.

I think people with BSR PPC tuning are ok, but not totally sure on that.

 

yup i got my ETM fixed before i start my modding :-). i think once they fixed the ETM my car got so much better as far as throttle response, that old system really was robbing me of the stock power.

 

just had it done last week... what a world of difference.

Pre mod though...
