I have an 88 240 DL I need help deciding what exactly needs to be done to the engine. The exhaust is already being planned,the intake and injectors are next.
I'm having the heads redone next week multi angle valves, resurfacing, and cleaning. My question is what else should I do to get good HP gains and before its said I know....turbo, But I'm not ready to do that yet. I have access to a decent machine shop. I'm able to do the rest my self. I have thought about a 16V conversion. but not sure where to go next as far as the engine is concerned.
