2002 V70 2.4 turbo FWD wagon with 103k miles - So I bought this car with 70k about three years ago with no problems. About six month ago it starts taking several seconds to shift from 1st to 2nd and then again from 3rd to 4th. Also when it does finally shift it slams pretty hard. The transmission has never been serviced as Volvo requested since they designed it as a closed system. FYI all other services have been preformed as Volvo requested.
I am planning on dropping the car off tonight at Volvo and would appreciate any and all advise.

Have you checked your Transmission fluid oil?

 

I should have mentioned that, but yes I did and it is at the right level
