Question 2004 S80 pulls to right under load

I have a 2004 S80 with 210,000 miles
New tires, balanced rotated and fully aligned. New struts and all other parts are satisfactory (I think).

Drives straight and true but as soon as I press down the accelerator it pulls to the right and I have to compensate by steering 1/4 inch turn to the left. When accelerator is let off I need to compensate but steering back as it then pulls to the right. The 1/4" gauge is from the top of the steering wheel, less than the distance between the blinker markers on the dash.

I've called two or three places and no one understands the issue?

Please help!!! I am afraid I am messing up something and it has new tires so I want them to last.

It's a front wheel drive car and power is not necessarily distributed evenly under power. It's called torque steer and the harder you push the accelerator the harder it will pull. Perfectly normal in all front wheel drive cars.

While I can appreciate this thought it is severe and hasn't done to for the last 200,000 miles, why now?

If it is a new and severe issue then for some reason you are only getting power to the right front wheel. With that kind of failure, either coming out of the trans, a failed CV joint, etc., I would think you should have a fairly severe noise anytime the car is moving.

I don't like the word. "I think." The whole suspension needs to be carefully checked. Specially the engine mounts. I've seen one where one of the front frame bolts wasn't torqued and just being threaded with a few threads causing a dramatic pull.
