Otherwise, I'd appreciate it greatly if someone would tell me how to get a photo down to the 80 x 80 pixel size to use as an avatar. I have this killer photo of my new XC70 that I want to use, but, according to the User CP info, it's 'way too big (iPhone 4S pic, if that helps).

I've tried Paint to crop the edges down to the minimum, and I've tried different save formats, but it's still too big.

I'll appreciate any and all help.

Use MS paint but don't crop, you can resize by pixel to make the photo the right size.
