06 S40 T5 Issues
My 06 S40 t5 sprung a heater core pipe leak while in the care of other family members. They didn't realize it and my carpet, passenger, rear passenger is soaking wet. ECU got wet also it stayed that way for a while. I had no idea until I saw them putting water in the recovery tank and it pouring out on the ground.
Now the lights stay on, high beams indicator stays on, the check engine light flickers and nothing will go out until I unplug the battery. I disconnected the fuse box ecu under the dash and sprayed the connectors and the pins left it out for a day or so to dry out. I also discovered a corroded connector pin that broke while was trying to clean the area, I hooked everything back up to see what would and wouldn't work. Well, the lights stay on still as well as the check engine light. The blower for the motor doesn't work now, I think it is because of that broken connector pin. Is there any way to get the ECU repaired? What else could be the cause of the car acting crazy after that heater core episode?
