12V battery fault - 2024 c60 Wagon Cross Country
I JUST bought a 2024 c60 wagon - mild hybrid. After I did an update within a few weeks of me having it - it began giving me 12V battery error lights and going into turtle mode. It's been towed 3 times to the dealer. Every time turtle mode will go away on its own - and that shouldn't happen either! It has less than 1000 miles on it!!! So far - the dealer cannot figure this problem out. It has never gone dead. Just throwing codes and turtle mode. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this issue? was it resolved? and how?
We have exactly the same problem! (Including the message "STOP SAFELY, 12V battery critical charging fault")
So far our Volvo dealer has replaced the alternator, and has now received authorization from Volvo to replace the mild hybrid battery. The car is in the dealership for the third time in 4 weeks with the same problem. Saw an interesting post regarding the problem occurring after a software update potentially draining the TCAM battery. Will take this up with the dealership.
