Recently my car started an interesting pattern which was that in a period of three days the bettery would drain. At first I couldnt figure out what it was but then I noticed that the door locks werent all locking and would even come unlocked when I went to lock them from the driver side. I then pulled the door lock actuator on the front passenger door which I discovered to be completely rusted from leaking water on the window. now can this be the cause of a short which is making the battery drain or is it something else? has anybody had this problem before. also where is a good place(junkyard or otherwise) to get parts in the central florida area? im located in winter park and would actually prefer for the parts to be used.

 

You may be better served by posting this in the 240 section. Besides that, how old is your battery? have you gotten it checked for bad cells?
