Default 1999 V70 Door Actuators

I've been pondering on this item to replace my actuators: http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199..._actuator.html

I'll need them for all four doors, so the assembly being sold at IPD and FCP will break the bank and leave very little food on the table for the next couple of weeks . Seriously, I'm looking at some economical alternatives.

However, looking at the door lock assembly being sold at FCP and IPD, it looks rather different. I was wondering if any of you guys have tried this product? If so, how was the install? Any inputs is much appreciated.

Hello, It's rare when all 4 of anything go out. Are you sure the switching is delivering power to the actuators you have? Check for a fuse. Door locks do pull some current.
Have you opened a door, let alone 4, to check for voltage at an actuator? Do you have a volt meter or test light? Is the door lock switch in the DDM? Driver's Door Module is the term for master switch nowadays. They commonly go at ~100,000 miles. The door liner clips are basic ones. Go get 20 of them at an body shop supply store, not at a Volvo dealer, and open up your doors.
You say you're weighing automatic door locks in an 11 or 12 year old car against food? With the energy I get from eating, I'd reach over and pull the door lock buttons myself.
Do a bunch more testing before you send ~$320 to Dorman. Kira
