I need to replace the turbocharger on my 1994 Volvo 850 ... autobahn edition
and my mechanic says that the mitsubishi built turbochargers will not work on my car and that I need to get a turbocharger actually built by volvo .... does anyone know if this is true or not.. thanks for the input

 

This maybe a shock to your mechanic, all Volvo 850 turbochargers were made by Mitsubishi heavy industry.
