Hi!

I'm new here, first time writing in a forum.
My question is: Do the facelift Volvo V40(2000-2004) coilovers fit prefacelift models?(1996-2000) My V40 is a 1999 model and i'm planning on lowering the car with TA Technix coilovers.
Any ideas? I have a suspision that i will have to rebuild the anti-roll bar to fit the newer design suspesion onto the car? Or are all the year models with the same suspension?

did you use the old top mounts and bushings on the new coilovers because im about to do the exact same on my v40 bar the rears i have new bush repair kit for those.

from what I can tell the various mounts are the same - Volvo did change the S40s' front strut bearing/mount design in 2001 (2000s used the older design) but the chassis didn't change
