Hi, I recently got two volvos for a project. I got an 02 N/A s60 and an 04 2.5t s60. The 04 ran into a guard rail and has a pretty messed up body from the accident. The 02 only has a misfire but it has a nice body. I have been working to swap the engines on them because I'd rather have the turbo engine than just fixing the N/A engine. But one of the problems i've been running into is the wiring harness. The two harnesses are obviously different but i'm not sure if I would have to swap both the engine bay harness and the harness that is attached to the CEM. The plugs on the two cars connecting the two harnesses have slightly different pins. So has anyone done this before? Can you just exchange the engine bay harness without it affecting anything? If I would have to swap both it would require a lot more work that I'd rather not do if I don't have to. If anybody has any info it would be really appreciated!
