2000 S70 Seat Replacement Compatibility?
I own a 2000 S70 Sedan, Automatic transmission. I need to replace my worn out/ torn front leather seats and went to the LKQ junkyard and pulled the front 2 seats from a 1998 V70 station wagon, that the leather was in much better shape.
My driver seat is electric (not heated) and the passenger is not electric (manual). The 2 seats I pulled from a 1998 V70 are similar configuration (driver electric seat and passenger seat i manual).
Before I start removing and replacing my 2000 S70 seats with the 1998 V70 front bucket seats, I need to know if the bolt locations, seatbelt anchoring and most importantly will the wire harnesses be compatible with each other.
I'd hate to get the 1998 V70 replacements seats into my 2000 S70 , and find out the wiring is not compatible and the airbag connections are not compatible. Need your experienced help.
Thank you, in advance, for your feedback.

This is shocking (to me), but the 98's don't have any wires running to the air bag. I didn't know there was such a thing until I got a 98. It's just a bomb sitting there triggered like a ramset.
I have not done this, but I would expect you'll get an SRS light with this swap for that reason.
