Default 2004 Volvo ABS

I have a 2004 Volvo XC 70 the ABS light is on And has multiple problems I have done a lot of reading they say it’s the ABS unit . And have it rebuilt but that doesn’t always fix the problem I appreciate the help I live in Minnesota

You need to have the diagnostic codes scanned for the ABS - not all scanners will read them but the codes will tell you what set off the light. Could be a wheel sensor, could be the ABS pump, could be the ABS controller board has developed cracks in the solder and needs to be rebuilt. Any other symptoms like a flashing TRACs light or does the ABS light come on with the key or come on when you start driving and touch the brakes?
