Hi, my wife bumped a curb and was able to drive home thinking,"no problem". When she arrived at home, she shut the car off. Now, you have to open the doors manually. When you turn the key, all the dash lights come on but quickly switch to check engine light. In the message window it says " SRS airbag service urgent". All the lights and their functions work fine and bright but when I turn the key, all I hear are relays clicking. Please, if there's a solution to fix this that I can do or a reset or a disconnect I can pull to bypass whatever is not allowing the car to start, I'd be very grateful.

 

Sounds like you tripped some kind of sensor. Try taking the battery cables off. This might reset the computers. If it doesn't work you're no worse off than you are right now.

 

Thanks for your response. I had the car towed to my independent repair shop. They found that the module that's located up above the brake pedal had a loose plug. 2hours labor $140 fix. Oh, what a relief it is!
