Hey guys been i while since ive been on. In need of some help and clarification. Ibhave a 2006 s60R with 170k km on it that recently purchased about 2 months ago. The car is clean inside and out aswell as mechanically sound no other issues. When i bought the car i knew there was a problem with the throttle body. It sometimes goes into safe mode and the code says throttle stuck open. From what ive been reading people are saying volvo had a recall or extended a warranty for this part. So i got my part number 30711553 and called the dealer. To my surprise they told me that the part number i gave them does not exist and should not be on my car part number 30711554 is the correct one. so i arranged an appointment for them to check it out. Ill let you know what happens. My question is though has anyone had this issue or has heard anything about it. I am the second owner and from my knowledge the part has never been changed. The car was always serviced at volvo with he previous owner. Anyways any help would be awesome. Thanks guys
