Default 2007 Volvo C70 Headlights flashing

I recently had a CEM issue and sent it to Xemodex in Canada to swap out and reprogram with a used unit. When I got the car back after having local shop swap it out I noticed the headlights flashing in unison on way back home. Everything seems to be working but they start to flash after about 10-12 mins and flash for about 3-5 and then go out completely. It does it everytime I start the car. Also got a reading the "rear park assist needs service" which wasn't on when I took it to shop. Is there a relay that maybe is going out or any ideas? I looked on manual and not seeing anything on headlight fuses or relay unless I am missing something. It only had 38k on it and is a beautiful car but it cost about $1000 to fix CEM and hoping this won't be ongoing!

Do you have Halogen or HID headlamps?

Hate to say it but not sure...believe they are stock for 07 C70. I would have to think they are halogen....have a blue tinge to them.

Could be either - problems with ballasts/bulbs (if HID) will cause on/off problems

I would think if it is a ballast it would be the individual bulbs not doing it in unison? It is funny that on starting car they are fine but go through same sequence flashing after 10-12 mins and then turning off completely 3-5 mins after starting to flash. Is there a relay or fuse to check...hopefully not in CEM unit as I don't want to touch it with all the issues!

Here's wiring for HID and normal. Both have a relay (2/63) and fuses for HIGH beams. Low beams are wired straight to the CEM. Fuses blow, and don't tranfer power until the fuse is replaced. Relays don't act "flashy" either.

You said - "have a blue tinge to them." Are they standard bulbs? Have you owned the car since new?

HID bulbs are very white, and Halogen bulbs are not known to be blue - but some aftermarket bulbs are blue to be cool! (and attract the attention of the local Law enforcement officer)

I am going to presume they were original so guessing halogen.....I bought it from 1st owner an 81 year old woman that I don't think would be changing out the bulbs when i bought it with 36k on it.. When you said they were wired direct to the CEM I think that is where my problem is since it is a reprogrammed unit. Going to take it back to my mechanic. Appreciate your input...just the consistency of what they are doing is puzzling.
