Hello everyone - I am considering buying a 2011 S60 T6 with about 115,000 miles on it. The car is absolutely stunning and in fantastic shape inside and out. After reading a great deal about oil consumption issues, engine replacements, ... I'm left wondering just how common the problems is? Am I rolling the dice if I buy this car, or does this issue just impact a small percentage of the 3.0 T6 engines? Also, I was wondering if a compression check would give me any insight into potential problems. The dealer I would be buying from has a seven day return policy, one option would be to buy it and drive it enough to get a feel for oil consumption and just return it if it has problems. Thanks.
