2011 Volvo S60 T6 Reliablilty and Longevity?
Hello all, I'm shopping around to replace my wife's car and considering a 2011 Volvo S60 T6 that they have at my local Volvo dealership
My wife's current car has been to the dealer 8 times for warranty repairs in less than two years and this concerns me now since the warranty expires in less than 300 miles. I usually keep my cars for at least 10 year but feel I made a mistake thus am looking for a car that will last a long time. My dad had a 740 and it was a great car until an accident took it out. I think the mistake was done when I purchased a first year model run because now that car has proven to be reliable after 2013. (2011 Mini countryman)
The Volvo in question is a 2011 S60 T6 with 38K miles. The dealer offers it with a 100K mile warranty. The warranty is nice but I hope to not have to use it. How are the second generation s60's when it comes to longevity of Transmission, Engine, Electronics and Interior? Is the T6 better lasting than the T5? What should I look for when shopping for a S60?Does it need premium gasoline?
Thanks for any assistance with this.
