There is an absolutely wonderful article in the November 2005 edition of Grassroots Motorsports magazine! If you are a boffin of the 850...........such as JimKW you are going to enjoy. There is the technical aspect to the article along with a comprehensive history of Volvo and how the 850 was sourced from the 460 sedan. Incidently Tech, do you know the publisher? I ask this as the staff resides in Florida and perhaps you have auto crossed with them.

Tech, I am one of the charter subscribers some twenty years ago when the name of the magazine was: AUTO CROSS. Tim Suddard started the magazine in his garage and it has now grown to one of the premier magazines dealing with grass roots racing. Recently he started another mag dealing with european autos................ It's pretty neat to see someone such as Suddard succeed in his endeavors.
