Hi I have an 86 Volvo 740 wagon with an aw70 transmission. I was recently noticed that my kickdown cable has quite a lot of slack in it when the throttle is closed. It shifts well into overdrive around 45 mph, but I did notice it does take a while to shift down when going up a hill. Should I adjust it to take some of the slack out of it? Any help is appreciated.
