93 240 wagon 38,000 miles value?
Hello, I just purchased a one owner 1993 volvo 240 wagon with 38,000 original miles. I have all service history from day one of everything that has ever been done to this car. all service was done at the volvo dealership where this car was purchased new. It is a very good looking wagon deep red in color and has alloy wheels. Cars is like brand new. inside and out. never smoked in and drives and sounds like a new car. My question is i need to insure this car correctly in case something would happen to it. I know it is worth way more than a kbb value because of the condition and miles. and it being the last 240 wagon made. I went to the local volvo dealer today to have the oil changed and register it into my name. They loved the car and said it was really hard to put a replacement value on this car and would be impossible to replace at such low miles. They said they would guess the car being worth near 8,000 but said they would not put that in writing. it was just a guess. Where do i go to get something in writing on a car like this to insure it correctly. And what do you think the car is worth. Thanks Kurt
