95 850 cam sensor hall sensor
Hello All,
New member, here. My 95 850 glt wagon, non-turbo 2.4 liter motor has 166K, drive belt done at 130k, good compression, spark, new plugs, wires, cap, air filter, fuel filter. Won't start, mechanic said plugs were soaked. My research found it may be crankshaft sensor. New one goes on tomorrow. I read that the cam sensor, which runs about $200, has a hall sensor that Jayco Electronics sells in it, which can be replaced instead of the entire unit. Jayco's phone goes into a full mailbox with no options. I called Bosch to ask what type of sensor they put in their cam sensor. The guy only told me that it works off of a 5 volt charge that every other time grounds. Does anyone know what hall sensor I need because if the crank sensor doesn't fix my won't start situation, I should probablly look at the cam sensor next. Any suggestions. Thank You.
