97 V90 Seats

RE: 97 V90 Seats
My 1998 S-90 had the same problem. Disconnect the neg battery terminal, unplug the electrical, remove the seat screws and lift out the seat. The motor that controls the forward, aft movement does so by cables. The longer one (inboard) is not seating in the motor and this causes the seat to skew on the track. Remove the two screws holding the cable clip on each end and pull out the cable asseembly. Cut off the retaining clip. Push out the cut offplastic in the clip with a wooden dowel, reinsertthe clip on the plastic and reassemble the cable and screws. You have shortened the plastic housing thereby lengthening the cable. Realign the seat tracks. It works! The cost is ZERO!
