98-00 xc70 vs 2006 v70R
So here's my dilemma, I own a 99 xc70 with over 200k miles. I have owned it for a little over four years. Below is what I have replaced.
timing belt/water pump. (at the shop/expensive)
Drive shaft/bearing and shield (diy)
Radiator (shop)
Heater core (shop)
Cooling Fan replacement (shop)
Coolant tank (diy)
Alternator (diy)
ECU (diy)
Currently I have a coolant leak, I will fix this hopefully by replacing all hoses, I also have foam like bubbles in my oil. My fuel sender is shot but I do have a replacement. I have abs/traction light on, check engine for O2 sensor. With all that and bad tires i drove through the storm Nemo nooooo problems, I love this car but I have been thinking of upgrading to an 06 v70r, is it just as good? Should I fix my 99 or just buy a lower miles of a 98-00 xc70 or v70R?
