Just bought a 98 volvo s70 with 163k, drove car for first 100 miles with no problems. Now car idles very rough and stalls, I pulled the MAF and problems seemed to stop, car can run and doesn't stall. Took car to autozone, came back with po243 and po440 codes. Also previous owner said they had recently replaced MAF, spark plugs and wires, radiator and hoses, and a sensor for air flow in the turbo

Also since check engine light has appeared the ac stopped working, not sure if issued are related or just a coincidence in timing

Lastly, is it alright to keep driving vehicle with MAF disconnected?
