'98 S70 T5M pricing?
I put money on a 98 T5M that popped up in my area but i'm not sure if the price is too high or what. Its black with black leather in almost mint condition with 142k. The guy "specializes in volvos" and won't budge with his set price at $5,600. The car is exactly what i want and i'd hate to pass it up, especially since i guess its one of the rarer ones being black on black? And another thing, the T5 emblem is missing for some reason..is there anything else "other than the Vin search" that would tell me if its really a T5. I just want to be sure.

Price seams a little high with the miles, Unless the seller has all the maintenance records so you can verify that the car is in excellent mechanical condition. If that's the case, then the asking price is reasonable. Also, make sure you get a carfax. I know it's not the best at recording 100% of everything but it's better then nothing. A vin search is probably the best way to to verify that it is a T5. A dealer can do it for you, and usually it won't cost you anything.

JIC someone finds this post in the future, you can alway check a vin at the official Volvo site: http://www.volvocars.com/us/top/comm...yourvolvo.aspx
Congrats on your find. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
