Default blower switch

I recall this happening to my brother-in-laws car (Nissan) and there was another component which regulated the fan/blower which was located behind the glovebox. I think that would be located close to the heater core. Would there be a simular switch in that location on my Volvo?

When you say the "AC Quit" what does that mean? Does the fan in the car work? Does the compressor kick on? Does the heat work?

It really sounds like you may NOT be mechanically inclined or just simply do not communicate well. Maybe you should take the car to a shop to be fixed when things break.
