2001 XC70 AC/Heat System Loosing Its Mind

I am having issues with my Volvo XC70’s air system, and in particular the AC. The AC performance is sometimes spotty, as sometimes no coldair will be produced for the first 10-15 minutes of driving in hot weather, andthen it will start functioning correctly. Other times I will make a stop for ashort time, like to get gas, and when starting out again the system tries toeither cool the car down, or heat the car up with the fans running at fullpower when the inside of the car is at the right temp. My mechanic has tried numerous times to fixthe issue/s and has suggested it is an electrical problem.

Any suggested will be greatly appreciated.

check the heater core?

hey there. I don't know much about cars - just what I learn from fixing the problems. just wanted to ask if your mechanic checked the heater core? it affects the AC as well as the heat.
