After market fuel cap issues?
Suddenly developed 18 fault codes (before I stopped recording them). Had these diagnosed at a non-Volvo shop.
Their recommendation was to replace my after market fuel cap with an oem, as a cheapest option before proceeding to expensive option. Seems implausible to me.
They wrote, ‘Found evaporative emission codes present. ...Further diagnosis of evap system could cost $270.’
Just thought I’d ask if anyone else has run into fault codes from after market fuel caps.
