Anyone have a cheaper alternative to the dealer
In the metro Detroit area? In this case I hit a pot hole and now I have fluid leaking near my front right tire area. Would I be better off taking it to a "Belle Tire" for something like this? I've always taken my vehicles to the dealers but I'm noticing the Volvo dealers are very very expensive.
Any new car dealer is very very expensive and some of us refer to them as "stealership", "rapership", etc...
I would stay away from any of the cheap franchise shops for servicing Volvo. I would try to find an independent shop that specialises in Swedish/Euro makes.
I wouldn't rely on a friend's recommendation unless he/she is knowledgeable in automotive technology. Also, make sure that the technician working on your car is a certified Master-ASE.
