I was at the stealers today for a service and they wanted to charge me £300 to turn apple car play on for my xc90 I presume like most other cars (Audi/vw) the hardware etc is already installed and it’s just a software switch to turn it on?

if so does anyone know how or what tools I need. I have an odb scanner but not sure if that’s sufficient.
