I have a 2017 XC90 D5 Inscription. I'm trying to work out whether I should convert to using Apple Carplay - mainly because we are an Apple Music family rather than Spotify, and connecting my phone as an iPod and using it's Apple Music UI breaches NZ law re use of cellphones re driving! The downside of this is that it appears that the car loses its internet connection - so the internal hotspot for internet sharing stops working. Seems to be an either / or situation - stick with Volvo apps and you get full integration or go the Carplay way and you lose the other functionality. Do I have this right? In an ideal world there would be an Apple music app alongside Spotify on the Volvo app store...Note that the Volvo connect service isn't available in NZ/
