Buying Used S60
I currently don't own a Volvo, but have started looking. I love the S60's but my eyes are bigger than my wallet. Can't afford a low mileage used one.
What are your thoughts on late model, high mileage vehicles (2006 - 80,000 miles) these seem to be in my price range.
Are they used up with that many miles in such a short time?
Thanks for any insight.

RE: Buying Used S60
High mileage on a Volvo is not as bad as on some other vehicles as they tend to go on forever. I would be a little concerned with a newer one that had that many miles (80,000/2 yrs. = 40,000 per year. If these are mainly highway miles and the car has been serviced and NOT abused, then you will probably be OK. If you find one just make sure you have it checked by a TRUSTED mechanic before purchasing. Anything with over 70,000 you will want to have the timing belt changed ASAP, if it hasn't been done yet and this is about a $600 cost.
