On a very few occasions over the years, my cruise control stops working. If I stop the car, turn off the engine, put in park, then restart, all is fine. Is there a cruise control shut-off system for certain conditions? Wondering if the "shutdown" is some kind of safety mechanism or just intermittent malfunction. Appreciate any help I can get.
